As a matter of policy, CLGPD has always been careful in the selection of its clients and collaborative partners. It is our mantra to be of service only to recognized leaders in their respective industries or businesses. We take pride in offering our partnership to the selected few who deserve it, as our utmost priority is the quality of our service.
It is for this reason that the Center for Local Governance & Professional Development, Inc. has the honor of being in service of the following, to wit:
A. LGUs and Elected/Appointed Local Officials
As its core competency, CLGPD prides itself on extensive experienced-based and academic-oriented expertise in Local Governance.

Rex Bookstore, now REX EDUCATION, is one of the longest partners and most valued clients of the Center for Local Governance & Professional Development.
The partnership between REX and CLGPD started in 2016 with the desire to provide Barangay Officials with handbooks to assist them in becoming better public servants and elevating the quality and effectiveness of their service to their respective constituencies. This partnership produced the Barangay Management Handbooks which are now available in the market. Several LGUs in Provinces, Cities, Municipalities, and Barangays have already purchased these tool kits for their reference. Through the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), the National Government has likewise allocated in the 2020, 2021, and 2022 General Appropriations Act (GAA) the accumulated amount of Three Hundred Million Pesos (P 300,000,000.00) for the purchase of these Barangay Handbooks to be distributed to the more than Forty-two Thousand (42,000) Barangays nationwide.
In 2021, REX and CLGPD collaborated in holding a Nine (9) Webinar Series on Local Governance via the ZOOM Platform which included topics such as the Early Childhood Care and Development Program, Local Education Continuity Plan of LGUs and various areas in Local Governance (e.g. Health, Finance, Peace and Order, Environment and Accountability) and was well-received by the public.
For 2022, REX and CLGPD have embarked in the pioneering advocacy to identify, validate, and distribute the necessary awards and recognition for outstanding local officials and LGUs who have exemplified outstanding practices in the areas of governance, early childhood care and development, local continuity plans in education and the other pillars of local governance (e.g. social services, peace and order, environment, and accountability among others). The 1st EDUKAMPYON GAWAD AWARDS was held in the last week of March and highlighted exemplary practices to be emulated and replicated in other areas of the country, hopefully resulting in the more effective and efficient delivery of basic services and further creation of public value in governance.
